Summary: Rock star Jagged Stone is akumatized into a supervillain who tries to all Parisians into fans and undermine his musical rival, Mr. XY. Review: Once again, the repetitive lines got pretty annoying, but other than that it was a cool episode. I like how Jagged Stone helps grow Marinette's talent by asking her to design his new album cover, which starts growing her and Jagged's relationship. I love how the two of them have a friendship as Jagged and Marinette and Jagged and Ladybug. One of the best parts of this episode was the dragon, because, c'mon. Ladybug got to ride a dragon. Summary: Rejected by a rock star, an angry fan becomes Pixelator, who traps Parisians in his camera's memory until Ladybug and Chat Noir halt his photo spree. Review: This was the first episode I ever watched. When the episode started, I barely got a glimpse at the title screen, but as soon as I saw Marinette, I knew she was Ladybug. (Shows how obvious it is) I didn't get a good look at Chat Noir, however, so when I saw Alya standing beside Marinette, I thought that she was Chat Noir. I know that's not the case, but imagine how cool it would be. I found this episode a little annoying when all Pixelator would say was "Look into the lense." It got repetitive after a while, and I personally don't think he had to say anything at all. I do think it's cool that Adrien was annoyed at Chloé when they were stuck together, though. Summary: A hypnotist akumatizes into Simon Says, a villain who can make obey him with his deck of cards, and seeks revenge on Adrien's father. Review: I. Was. Laughing. So. Hard. When Gabriel was acting like a plane was funny enough, but when he starts acting like a butterfly? Smooth, Thomas Astruc, smooth. When Marinette got grounded for not being where she was supposed to be at any given time, it got me wondering what would have happened if she revealed her secret identity to her parents? They would be able to cover her when she needed to disappear, and they would be unwaveringly supportive and proud. Jumping back to the end (ish) I would like to mention Gabriel's meetings with Chat Noir and Ladybug. HE ALMOST TAKES THEIR MIRACULOUSES THEN AND THERE! Summary: A humiliated zookeeper is akumatized into a villainous shapeshifting animal on a day when Marinette, Adrien, and friends are visiting the zoo in Paris. Review: This episode had me smashing my head into a wall. I could. Not. Believe. Kim was stupid enough to think that he could outrun a panther.  A legitimate panther . Also, I know he doesn't know what he's doing, but Adrien just tried to set up the love of his life with his best friend!!! But, for as head-bashing as this episode was, there were a lot of amazing things. For example, Ladybug got eaten by a dinosaur and lived!  Also, she single-handedly jumpstarted Ninalya so... Summary: In a continuing flashback to Ladybug and Chat Noir's origins, Marinette mistakes Adrien for a bully and hesitates to embrace her Ladybug persona. Review: I really, really liked this episode. Sure, Marinette wanted to give up Ladybug because she thought she wasn't good enough, but an important thing to remember is that she the only one who thought she wasn't good enough. All of Paris, including Chat Noir, believed in her, so as soon as she started believing in herself, she saw that she could be a great Ladybug. I like how she was always putting others before herself in this episode. She 'fails' as Ladybug so she doesn't try to do it again. She knows Alya loves superheroes, she tries to give the earrings to her. Alya gets trapped, Pairs is in danger, so she puts the earrings back on and accepts her role. Summary: In a flashback, Ladybug and Chat Noir's origins are revealed, as Marinette befriends Alya and meets Adrien, a famous model with an overprotective dad. Review: In my opinion, this totally should have been the first episode. It tells us exactly what the miraculous are and gives us a thorough explanation of everything. I really like how we get to see the characters in their early stages of development. Shy Marinette, loner Nino, and new kid Alya. I loved watching Alya's guts as she instantly befriends this girl she's just met, and helps her stand up to Chloé. I also loved the differencing reactions to getting their Miraculous between Adrien and Marinette. She calls Tikki a "bug-rat" and he asks Plagg if he's a genie. And then there's the comparison of their first transformations. Marinette is clumsy and stumbling all over the place, but Adrien makes us wonder if he's practiced for this. Summary: Marinette can't transform into Ladybug when classmate Rose is akumatized into a villain whose perfume lets her control Chat Noir and a visiting prince. Review: Once again, Chloé's responsible for an akumatized victim. Poor Rose just wanted to deliver sm ekind words, but I guess that's not in Chloé's vocabulary. Once again, we have a very effective villain, as Princess Fragrance was able to take over Chat Noir, which puts her one step closer to obtaining both miraculouses. Science finally serves a purpose to those who don't have a future career in it, by helping Ladybug defeat Princess Fragrance, although it's impossible for fire to follow gas into the air and into a gun. Summary: When Mylène's father loses a part in a play to his scheming understudy, he akumatizes into the Mime, a villain whose pantomimes become real. Review: As a theatre/drama kid, this was a GREAT episode. I could totally relate to the tired director who JUST WANTS HER ACTORS TO SHOW UP DARN IT! I loved the relationship between Mylène and her father. You could tell she was really proud of him, and they have a really sweet relationship. The fact that his akumatized object was a picture of her, you could really see that he cared about his daughter and didn't want to disappoint her. I just find that beautiful. Summary: While Marinette tries to retrieve her diary from Chloé, Adrien's fencing teacher is akumatized into Darkblade, a villain who storms city hall. Review: I really admired Marinette in this episode. It was brave of her to decide to run against Chloé in the class representative race, and when Chloé threatened to reveal all her secrets, she didn't cave. It could have been that she knew Chloé would never get into her diary, or it could have been that if she did get into her diary, Chloé would find out that she's Ladybug, which would actually help  her win. I also admire how, when people started saying they would vote for her just because she wasn't Chloé, she said she wanted them to vote for her because they want her, not because they just don't want Chloé. Summary: During the filming of a short horror movie for Marinette's class, scared star Mylène is akumatized into a slimy monster who feeds off other people's fear. Review: I feel so bad for Mylène. She deserves so much better than being turned evil for being afraid. But Chloé is partially to blame, surprise, surprise. She did it solely to get to kiss Adrien, because she knew he wouldn't kiss her of his own accord. I was so hoping to get an Adrienette kiss, but sadly it did not happen. If you look closely at Adrien during those scenes, you'll see that he pulled away from Chloé. However, when he was supposed to kiss Marinette, he grabbed her waist, pulled her closer, and leaned in.  Like, wow, Adrien. We all know you want her, but at least TRY to be subtle. Marinette is obviously not 'just a friend.' I love the scene where they find all the people kidnapped by Horrificator, and Ladybug is calling for Adrien. Summary: Marinette considers declaring her feelings for Adrien on Valentine's Day, but first they must stop Dark Cupid, a villain bent on eradicating love. Review: I really hated Chloé in this episode. I think this is the first time we've ever seen her turn down a diamond. Poor Kim was just trying to do something nice for her, but she had a be a jerk. (I would rather use a much meaner word, but I shouldn't. So much happened in this episode that drove me CRAZY. Adrien's not to Ladybug that Marinette found, and Tikki convincing her it's for her, Marinette writing a message back, Adrien thinking it's from Ladybug, Ladybug kissing Chat Noir, Chat Noir getting minionized saving Ladybug after trying to tell her he loves her, AGH. This episode did a number on my heart. One thing I can't get out of my head is the Ladynoir kiss (!!!). Summary: When he's fired by the mayor, police officer Roger becomes Rogercop, a villain who thinks he's enforcing the law by ruling Paris as a dictator. Review: This was more of an... unmemorable episode. I honestly think the best part was when Chat Noir won with the power of dance, but that's pretty much it. I do also really like how Plagg got his head stuck inside Chloés bracelet, and his spiral catapult as he sneezed out of it, but other than that, it wasn't really a great episode. Summary: A fellow student with a crush on Marinette is akumatized into the Evillustrator, a villain Chat Noir must face without Ladybug. Review: I really, really  liked this episode. I love how we get to see that Marinette really is Ladybug, with or without the mask. Even when she realized Nathaniel had a crush on her, she didn't make things awkward between them, she remained his friend and stood up for him. When he was akumatized, she bravely went with him without her Ladybug disguise. I really liked her plan on how to capture Evullustrator's akuma, but I have one question. When she sent Chat Noir an image of Marinette, she said, "Pretty cute, huh?" Was she trying to transfer Chat Noir's interest from her to... her? Chat Noir's visit with Marinette, was, in my opinion, amazing. First off, he was TOTALLY checking her out, (rewatch the scene, you'll see what I mean) and then she was dropping that sarcasm faster than a mic! (Oh, Chat Noir! Me, save Pari...

Summary: Mistakenly believing  Chloé is Ladybug, Alya gets suspended from school for her nosiness and becomes akumatized into the villain Lady Wifi Review: I'm not gonna lie, I was super disapointed when I found out that Alya was the one who got akumatized. How's she supposed to record this for her blog? I honestly can't believe people (including Chat Noir) thought that Chloé was Ladybug. Guys, her hair is COMPLETELY different! I'm not really that surprised that Alya got suspened, because she WAS invading someone's privacy by looking/searching in her locker. Although, she should have only been suspended for a day, not a WEEK. I really liked Marinette's point of view on the whole Alya-being-akumatized matter. "I have to SAVE my best friend." I was on the edge of my seat while Alya was attempting to peel the mask from Ladybug's face. Thank goodness for magic! I think Lady Wifi was a very effective villain. Summary: When a villain with the powers of ancient Egyptian gods wants to sacrifice Alya, Ladybug and Chat Noir must fight an army of mummies to rescue her. Review: One question that arises after this episode is: Why did Alix inherit the family heirloom and not her brother? I mean, if she didn't, we wouldn't have Timebreaker, so I'm okay with it, but it's still confusing. I like how in this episode, we get to learn more about Ladybug, specifically Tikki. I would like to know who some of the other Ladybugs were. I really admire Alya in this episode, how she can literally be on the verge of being sacrificed, but still remain optimistic. Summary: A jealous sculptor in love with Ladybug akumatizes into Copycat, a duplicate of Chat Noir who tries to take his rival's place by Ladybug's side. Review: After getting two ladybugs in one episode, Thomas Astruc delivered two Chat Noirs. However, this time, one is evil. In this episode, we get to fully experience the depth of Ladybug and Chat Noir's relationship, as she's able to distinguish the real Chat from the impostor. I love how Marinette sees that "Chat Noir" stole the Mona Lisa, and she knows  something isn't right, but we wouldn't steal something. I also love the line, "Chat Noir may annoy me, but he's never lied to me." It really shows how close Ladybug and Chat Noir are, even if he annoys the crap out of her. Summary: When anger over a broken watch turns Alix into a time-turning villain, it's up to Ladybug to return to the past and thwart her plans. Review: This episode was really amazing. I love how we see how deeply Chat Noir loves Ladybug, how he's willing to sacrifice himself (he DIED) so that she could complete their mission. Unfortunately for the fans who want the reveal to happen, Ladybug traveling back in time and Adrien seeing her and Marinette side-by-side gives him an excuse for being blind. One of my favorite lines was "Two Ladybugs? I'm in heaven!" Another thing I really liked about this episode was the Dupain-Cheng family. We're so used to Sabine and Tom being all proud-parenty, but in this episode we see them scold her for the first time. I like how they did this because it shows that they are really good parents and not the kind that can't see the wrong in their child. Overall, this was one of my favorite episodes this season. Summary: After losing a contest for being TV weather girl, bitter Aurore is akumatized into the villain Stormy Weather, who traps Marinette's friend Alya in ice. Review: In this episode, we got introduced to Manon, who is quite possibly one of the cutest things ever. I loved Alya in this episode, how she was so willing to take care of Manon when Marinette had to disappear and didn't ask any questions. This was a really good episode in how they established relationships. It showed Alya and Marinette's unwavering devotion to each other as friends, and it showed how Marinette deeply cares about everyone she meets, including Manon, giving her to someone she trusts and ensuring - even in Ladybug form - that she is safe. One thing I find very powerful about this episode is how Aurore tried to fight off the akuma, but ultimately failed. Summary: The akuma fighters try to apprehend Mr. Pigeon, a bird lover who has kidnapped all the park keepers in Paris, but Chat Noir's allergies interfere. Review: This was a weirder episode, to say the least. Who knew you could get such strong emotions f rom not being able to feed pigeons? One thing I really liked about the episode was the strength of the characters. Marinette overcomes her self-doubt and stands up to Chloé. Ladybug and Chat Noir overcome the barrier of Chat's allergy to feathers, successfully capturing the akuma. If I'm honest, I was hoping that Marinette would put two and two together after Chat Noir and Adrien both turned out to be allergic to feathers, but unfortunately, feather allergies are not rare, so that was not the case. Summary: Adrien's best friend, Nino, is akumatized into the Bubbler, a villain who traps adults in bubbles and sends them floating away into the atmosphere. Review: As the first official episode of this miraculous show, The Bubbler gave us a good insight into the characters we start to love. We got to see true, strong friendships in Nino and Adrien, and Ladybug and Chat Noir. This episode highlighted what exactly we were getting ourselves into, with akumatizations and our new favorite superheroes. The episode answered a few of our questions, such as: Who are Ladybug and Chat Noir, and how do they defeat the villains, but left us on a cliffhanger with Hawkmoth's secret identity.
